The NiSi 15mm f/4 Sunstar Super Wide Angle Full Frame ASPH Lens in Silver (for Sony E Mount) offers a compact design paired with an exceptionally wide field of view, making it an ideal choice for landscape, seascape, night, architectural, interior, and nature photography. With an impressive 112° angle of view, this lens utilizes an advanced optical design featuring aspherical and low dispersion elements to deliver sharp, well-corrected, and colour-accurate images. It features a manual focus system and can focus on subjects as close as 0.2 meters.

The lens elements are made of optical glass and comprise of one double-sided aspherical element and two extra-low dispersion elements.  It features minimal chromatic aberration, minimal distortion and vignetting.  It utilizes anti-reflection technology in order to improve light transmittance and reduce lens flare and stray light.  NiSi’s hard surface coating technology improves the toughness and waterproofing of glass elements.

The Super-wide prime is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras but can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 22mm equivalent focal length.
