The MagStor Thunderbolt 3 DUAL 12TB LTO8 Tape Drive features two LTO-8 tape drives connected via a Thunderbolt 3 port as a convenient connection to your desktop Windows or Mac system. Taking advantage of LTFS (Linear Tape File System), users can easily drag and drop files to and from an LTO-8 tape drive for 12TB of native capacity. Thunderbolt 3 devices are fully backwards compatible with previous generations of Thunderbolt technology. MagStor recommends the Apple MMEL2AM/A adapter with those using older Thunderbolt ports.
